Tilbury

After crossing the stormy cold channel, Tilbury is the first stop. Here is the information on Tilbury that I used, as I have to admit, I never heard of Tilbury before. „The centre of Tilbury itself is small and has little to interest visitors“ Jup, this is right. Take a look at Tilbury citi center and decide yourself, if you want to spend your next summer vacation there. And that is not all. Not to far away you will find the World’s End Inn that has a sign reading: „No shirt, no beer!“. In the past Tilbury was an important military centre and Elisabeth I adressed her troups here, when she was facing the threat of the Spanisch Armada. Tilbury was built to protect London from an attack by sea“ That’s where I headed to.
